REBEL LEADER’S AIM.

General Carranza, a rebel leader, in a proclamation, asserts that if General Huerta holds the elections, ho will be treated as a traitor to his country ; also, all those participating therein, General Carranza declares that Ins aim is to exterminate Huerta and all his following. Sx-President Diaz has been asked to return to Mexico and advise the countrv in its present crisis. Gamboa, « Catholic .candidate, is campaigning vis-z-vu'y.
