THE WANGANITI 'MEETING. Wanganui, September 27. There was fine weather for the second day of the Wanganui Jockey Club's spring meeting, and there was another very large' attendance. Result's':— Owen Handicap, of 150sovs, six furlonga.—Tree Lucerne 1, Postillion 2, Makura 3'. All started. Won by a length, three lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 14 2-ssec. Railway Handicap, of llOsovs, six furlong*:—Denis Orme 1, Rewi Poto 2, Sunbird 3. Scratched: Kew. Won by a" length, two lengths between siecQnd a nd thircL Tim0 ' lmin 15 2-oseoY Brunswick Hurdles, of ISOsovs, a mile and a-half.-Timothy 1, Goodwin Park'2 l , Ngatimaru 3. All started. Ngatiranui was left at the post. A .runaway victory: Won by ten lengths, twolengths hetween second and third. Time, 2min 48sec. Aramoho'Hack Hurdles, of llOsovs., a mile and a-half.—Phroso 1, Sampan 2, Daisy Paul 3. Scratched: Timothy. Won with the greatest ease, by lengths. Floss fell. Time, 2'min 481 see. Higgle Handicap, H miles.—Peroneal 1, Leonta 2, Byron 3. Scratched: Ceylon. Won by a head. Time, 2min Q 1-foec.
