Five escapees have been discharged from quarantine. They were prosecuted for 'breaking quarantine and fined £5, with ah 'alternative of a month's imprisonment each. (Received 9.0. a.m.) Sydney, September 27. Mr' Cook has ' notified Mr ' Holmmi that' he, cannot see his way to remove the quarantine embargo from Sydney. It is reported that the matter will receive further consideration. (Received 8.40 a.m.) Sydney, September 27. The Vaccination Bill applies only to children born after October Ist. OUTBREAK IN AUCKLAND. Auckland, September 26. Four fresh, cases of the epidemichave been moved to the isolation hospital at Point Chevalier. The patients, who are all Europeans, arc three children and their father They have been living for some time off Jervois Road, Ponsonby. Six cajses have been reported from Ahipara, a gum-digging settlement on ' the wost'coast, in the far north. The protest against Phroso for alleged interference was dismissed..
