A good afternoon’s genuine sport n promised at the Xorth Taranaki Hunt Club’s race meeting, which' is to bt held on the racecourse, New Plymouth to-morrow. Capital entries have beci received which should ensure, gmc fields facing the starter, and judging by the handicaps, close finishes should be the order of the day. ‘The cup and ribbon to be presented to the win ner of the Hunt Steeplechase ha; hocn donated by the President, M K. W. Wheatley, whilst other mem hers of the Chib (Messrs. Halcombe Matthews and Jas. Wraith) are alsr donating trophies for other races, Afte each race the winner will be brought round in front of the stand and presented with the prize won, wide should add to the pleasure of the afternoon.
