At Palmerston South, on Saturday afternoon, a eon of James Challis. while endeavouring to climb on ;: threshing mill, drawn by a Ira'Jt/idi; • engine through the township, fell under the wheels, sustaining fatal injuries.
A BODY FOUND
Auckland, September 15
The body of S. Y. P. Peddle, .one of the occupants of the launch which disappeared from Whnngapoua, Cororaandel, some weeks ago, was found on the Pungapunga beaen last flight.
