Br. Walsh, of the'Theistic Church, advocated the elimination of the word Hell from the Bible. American revisors had already expunged it from the Old Testament. British revisers explained that it did not mean a place of torment. Of twenty-three cases-in the New Testament ten represented a mis-translation of Hades. If future revisers refused to translate "Gehenna" by "hell" the hideous word would he swept out of the Bible.
Don't trust to memory to preserve the changing likeness of your growing hoy or girl. Memory plays strange tricks sometimes.
