■ The Hig*'Commissioner cabled from London under date September 13th inter alia m followsBetter.—The market is firm with a good demand for choicest, but poor for low grades. The market has been unfavourably affected by large quantities at present in store for some time past. Choicest Danish has been quoted at 1.30 a to 131 s, French 110 s to 116 s, Dutch 110 s to His, Australian IU4» to 110 s, Siberian I.oos to 104 s. Cheese.-The market is firm, prices rising for Canadian and English. It is not expected prices will advance for English. New Zealand stocks are almost exhausted. Canadian 66s to 675, New Zealand 63s (normal), Engh*h Cheddar 70s to'80s:
