WEATHER FORECAST.
o The Government Meteorologist (Kev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications arc for variable and strong breezea, westerly moderate to strong winds prevailing, and backing by west to north and freshening, alter 24 hours. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness for an unfavorable change. Larometer little movement, but falling after 24 to 30 hours.
