FIRE IN MANCHESTER.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 12.30 p.m.) London, September 4. A warehouse at Manchester was gutted by fire. Immense crowds were attracted by the flames, which rose 500 feet in the air. The firemen had a heavy task in saving the adjoining property. Three thousand bales of cotton, * two thousand cases of print goods, and much merchandise and oil were destroyed. .
