AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURES. Over 1000 picture-lovers visited Bernard's Theatre last week. T.he various subjects shown were well appreciated. To-night's new change will brine forth the new series of Zigomar ind *e Eel's skin detective story, also the great Vitagraph comedy, "The Locket," introducing the famous John teunny, "Genoa," a fine kinemacolor scenic, and a bunch of the latest dramatic and comic subjects. The scenario of Zigomar is very interesting. Rarely in one. picture have so many stirring scenes been brought together, sensation follows sensation, and the spectators watch in breathless interest the duel between this avowed enemy pf society and his equally implacable enemy, the famous detective, Paulin Broquet. The series coueludes with the daring bandit's exploit in an aeroplane, his defeat, and the' final victory of the intrepid Broquet. The management announce that next Friday amateur Comic recitation trials will be given', when the usual money prizes will be forthcoming. Already some exceedingly funny trims have been handed in.
