Says the Opunake Times:—"Tin fiurveyors who are making a survey of the proposed Opunake railway rout are getting through the work smartly and will soon be at Opunake. Afte that—well wait a while for the smok of the engine." It having been reported the survey now being made by the Governmer. surveyors in connectic '. with the Opunake railway would not touch tin town of Opunake, Mr Dudley, who i in Wellington attending the Countiee Conference, interviewed the membe, of the district on the matter and th. following telegram was received b; Mi Geo.
