During firing trials at Pola, an accident occurred to the breech of a 30] centimetre gun. Three officers wore killed, and sevo Ml officers and others were injured c.vo severely. Vice-Admiral Count Lanjus von Wei lenburg. President of the Naval Tech ideal Committee, was terribly injured and had to have both legs amputated
