This morning Charles Kron, who jwas found guilty of the theft of a I gold watch chain at Pahiatua, was reImanded until to-morrow for sentence. He was acquitted on the charge ol j robbery with violence. J AUCKLAND SESSIONS. Auckland, August 20. I John Rinski, charged with false pretences, was sentenced to twelve !months’ imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal. ! In divorce a decree nisi was granted in the case, Alfred Chas. Smith v. Ethel Mary Smith, misconduct.
