FLAXMILL WORKERS. [Per Press Association.] Palmerston N., August 20. A mass meeting of flaxmill workers at Foxton passed a resolution endorsjing the sentiments expressed by their deputation to the Premier in connection with flaxmill accommodation, and ; repudiated the charge made by milllers that the demands were not those of men, but of agitators. The meeting contended that this unwarranted charge was a deliberate transgression of their rights on the part of the employers in attempting to convey tlu impression to the Premier that they n ere voicing the sentiments of work ors in place of the latter’s deputed representatives.
