MONTENEGRO THREATENED

The newspapers report that the I Maiissori are dissatisfied with the Al- j banian-Montenegrin boundary fixed by I the Ambassadors' Conference. The leaders have notified Vice-Ad- j' miral Burney, who was commander of | the blockading expedition at Antivari, that unless their demands are conced- I ed by the 20th inst., they will declare j war against Montenegro.
AUSTRIA. (Received 11.0 a.m.) Vienna, August 17. It is proposed to raise the annual recruit levy to 2(50.000. Of the additional 40,000, 20.000 will be used for the army and 2000 for the navy. There will also be increases of cavalry and artillery. A ROYAL PROCESSION. Sofia, August 17. King Ferdinand, crowned with a wreath of laurel leaves, beaded the Sofia division of the troops in a procession to the city from the front. THE DOXATO MASSACRES. Salonika, August 17. Six Bulgarian soldiers, identified as participating in the Doxato massacres, were court-martiallcd and ■ executed over their victims' graves. GREEK DEMOBILISATION. (Received 9.30 a.m.) London, August 17. The Greek army demobilises next week. The slow withdrawal of the Roumanians is embarrassing to Bulgaria and is hindering the re-estab-lishment of food transportation. CHOLERA AMONG ROUMANIANS Two thousand cases of cholera are reported among the Roumanians. .
