' HIS MAJESTY’S PICTURES. To-night will see the last of the current series of pictures at Bernard’s Theatre, making way for a gigantic change on, Monday evening, The delightful drama “Woman,” by the Vitagraph Co., features the clever actress, Miss Leah Baird, who, hungry for the love she at first spurned, returns it with the increased richness of her own, “The Last Days of Pompeii,” an ancient historical drama by Ainbrosio, “Redman’s Burden,” the Edison photo-play, “Two Little Pals,” Hepworth drama, and “A ’Timely Rescue,” Lubin drama, are pronounced to bo scenarios of the first grade. “How Ho Keeps Fit,” is an educational film showing incidents in the life of Britain’s sailors. Scenes typical of a sailor’s ‘Sport’s day” are depicted, the chief item being an obstacle race of so complicated a character that only a sailor could be expect ed to emerge triumphant from the last net. The latest Warwick Chronicle depicts doings in the Old Land. The comic portion of the programme is well catered for. The management announce that in order to encourage local talent, amateur song trials will be given every Friday, when the best comic singer will receive one guinea, second prize 10s 6d.
