WEATHER FORECAST.
Tho Government Meteorologist (Rev i). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for :—Southeasterly strong to gale, and backing by west to north after about 36 hours. Expect cold and damp weather. The night ’ will probably be very cold. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers flooded. The barometer has a rising tendency.
