The course is heavy after the night’s heavy rain, and a light shower fell before the first race. The attendance is very fair. Results:— United Hunt Club’s Steeplechase, a handicap of 1150 sows; second to receive 25 sovs, and the third 10 sovs out of

the stake.—-Fritz 1, Captain Jack 2, Major Webb 3. All started. Major Webb, King,sway, and Rufus wore prominent in early stages, Captain Jack and Fritz being some distance. back. Entering, the straight, Fritz came with a great run, cut clown the loaders, and won by four lengths. King-sway ran off.

Heatlicote Handicap (Flat), of 350 sovs; second to receive 35 sovs, and the third 15 sovs out of the stake. Seven furlongs.—Royal Arms 1, Ceylon 2, Diavolo 3. All started. Royal Arms and Diavolo were in charge on entering the straight. . The former drew out from the distance, and lasted long enough to beat the fast-finish-ing. Daylight Bill moved up, but Pip caught him on the run home and won by half a length, Prince Eddie being three lengths away. Time, 3min 14 4-ssec. Sydenham Hurdle Handicap, of 509 sovs; second to receive 70 soys, and the third 30 sovs out of the stake. One mile and three-quarters.—Beacon 1, Marton 2, Loch Mabin 3. All started. Going round the back, Bea?ftn drew out four lengths from Watchchain, with Loch Mabin next and Marton well back. Marton came •vith a great late run, but failed to ■■each Beacon, who won by half a length, Loch Mabin a length away, Windage fourth. Time, 3min 26 4-osec.
