THE PILGRIM FATHERS.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 1.5 p.m.) London, August 15. Mr Paget, United States Ambassador, unveiled a Pilgrim Fathers’ memorial at Southampton. He said that on Anglo-American institutions the principles and destines of the human race depended. The responsibility of ruling the world rested on those speaking Shakespeare’s language. A number of descendants of the Pilgrim Fathers were present.
