There is a large croud, and the course is in good condition. Results: — Hunters’ Hurdles.—Buster 1, Lmeraboy 2, Margo 3. Scratched: Ramrod, Aha, Major, and Webb. Won by half a length. Trial Hurdles. —Morning 1, Prince Eddie 2, Napper Tandy 3. All started. Won by three lengths, ten lengths between second and third. Time 3min 21 l-ssec.
Jumpers’ Flat.—Goodwin Park 1, Red Earl 2, Flingot 3. Scratched, Beacon. Won by a length. Time 2 min 43sec.

[Strafford heartily congratulates Mr I. R. L. Stanford on his further turf victory this afternoon, his chestnut gelding Bercola having again proved his quality by winning the Grand National Steeplechase, thus proving himself probably the best cross-country horse at, present in New Zealand. The son of Officer —Noon has now, in addition to many minor events to his credit, the honor of winning the Century Hurdles, the Great Northern Steeplechase, and the New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase. The victory is deservedly popular.]
