Lord Robert Cecil claimed that the Government’ was giving a monopoly, and criticised tho managers offering the members of the Cabinet shares. Mr Samuel declared that the Government was fortunate in finding a company willing to invest half a million and receive no payment unless the wireless stations were satisfactory.
