WEBSTER, BOBSON AND CO. S STOCK REPORT. It our Stratford sale on Tuesday we had a full yarding of stock and large attendance, competition was good throughout arid most of the stock changed hands 'either at the hammer or afterwards. We quote: Weaners, small 30s to 395, weaner steers 45s to 52s 6d, do heifers 41s to 50s, weaner heifers colored 45s to £2 19a Cd, empty heifers £3 5s to £4 10s, heifers in calf £3 los to £5 12s 6d, springing heifers £6 10s, store cows (old) 35s to 47s 6d, fresh cows £3 9s to £1 17s 6d, dairy cow* and heifers £6 to £8 10s.
At Messrs A. and J. R. West's clearing Bale there was a large attendance and keen competition throughout, the herd being in pink of condition, the implements, traps, etc., being well cared for. sold well. Young cows and early calvers £lO to £l2 10s, more backward do. £8 to £lO 10s, older cows £6 to £9, empty do £3 10s to £5 ss, in calf heifers £4 5s to £6 ss, empty heifers' £3 lis, 4-year Holstein bull £ls, yearling do. £3 5s to £4 ss, weaner Holstein heifers £4 2s 6d, yearling filly £7 ss, 2-year filly £l2 15s, bay mare £l6 10s, brown do. £l3, harness £5 los, spring cart £9, Cortland £2O, waggon and harness £37, gig and harness £25 7s 6d; drill £3O, plough £4 15s, disc £7, harrows £4 ss, roller £4 ss. sundries and furniture at usual prices. At Mr C. Jago's clearing sal© on 23rd July there was n good attendance and bidding throughout was good. The dfiiry herd was in fine condition and chiefly early calvers.
