THE REBELS ACTIVE. [By Electric Telegraph—Cofvrtghtl I United Press Association. -1 Hong Kong, August 5. The Cantonese rebels fired on the Chinese steamer Samfihui, killing three and wounding five passengers, and disabling the vessel. The Cantonese troops at Intong mutinied and killed the commander.

They annulled the proclamation of independence. The rebel Tutuk has fled to Hong Kong.
