Lord Curzon, in the House of Lords, proposed a national memorial to Captain Scott and his colleagues on the edge of Hyde Park, opposite the Royal Geographical Society's building. Lord Beauchamp replied that it was necessary to secure the House of Commons' consent. MONOPOLY IN MEAT SUPPLY.

promised to ask the Commonwealth regarding the alleged intention of American firms to monopolise Australia's meat supply to the United Kingdom.
