BOWLING.
The annual mooting of the Hawera Bowling Club was held on Thursday. The balance-sheet showed a very satisfactory financial position, the debt having been reduced by £SO during the year. Officers were elected as follows :—President, Mr Parkinson ; vice-presidents, Messrs Parrington andi Spence; committee, Messrs Syme, W. Robertson, A. Robertson, Bates, Henson, Foy, Salmon, R. Hicks, and Adainsou. Mr Reilly, after some discussion, consented to continue in office as hon. secretary and. treasurer, and was re-elected; Mr Smart was appointed auditor, Mr Spence delegate on the Taranaki Association, and Mr Christie delegate on the New Zealand Bowling Association.
