OIL FUEL IX THE NAVY

Mr Asquith (Prime Minister), m the House of Commons, stated that the use of oil fuel in the Navy began in 1904, and had extended since then. It was not a uew departure. Mr Churchill, replying to Lord Beresford, said they had let twentyfive oil fuel contracts during the past four years, and would be further contracts when necessary.
