CANADA'S NAVY
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.]
Victoria, Julv 27
Referring to the New Zealand's visit, Mr Hazen declared that he felt humiliated that Canada was unable to place throe Dreadnoughts beside the New Zealand, in order to show Canada's real sentiments of loyalty. Canada's opportunity had now gone. The Government was fully determined to carry out its naval policy, which was merely delayed by the unrepresentative Chamber, which had thwarted the will of the people.
Mr Mcßride, Mr Hazen, and the Lieutenant-Governor were entertained by Captain Halsey at a private banquet.
