FIRE AT HUIROA.

INQUIRY TO BE HELD

In the early hours of Saturday morning last a fire broke out in the store of Mr J. A. Stanford at Huiroa. It was discovered before the flames had much hold, and a good save was effected, the total damage done being only about £B.

Sergeant McNeely visited Huiroa later on Saturday and his investigations led him to the conclusion that an inquiry into the circumstances was desirable. An inquiry will therefore be held at Huiroa at 11 o’clock on Thursday morning before Mr C. D. Sole, J.P.
