I The Toko Hall Committee held a euchre [tournament arid dance on Thursday, last in the Coronation Hall •in aid of the .Crockery, Fund-, There i Was a: fair attendance, some sixty-four • players taking part at .euchre.. For, the ladies \, first prize (e.p. cream ' and sugar cruet), Mrs C. Riley,' Miss'S'tahfor'd? Miss Pollard/Miss Smith,;' arid Miss tied with eight games ; in the : 'play off Mrs C. Riley came out first,, arid Miss N.,,.Leydon second (a .box, of perfumery). For the gentlemen's first prize.(e.p. cruet),, Mesprs H. Judd arid' : L. Roberts tied, With nine' gajmes; in the play-off, Mr H. Judd"came out; firfcti'and) Mr'. second'(prize, razor strof). The Booby prize fell to Miss E. Judson. Mr W. H. Were presented the prizes to the winners. The Hall was then cleared, and dancing commenced, about forty couples testing the floors which was in excellent order. Music was supplied by Mr Pearson (piano) and extras were kindly played by Miss Oumberwofth. Were 18, C. Fincham 15. A Ferguson retired.

A 12-bird handicap sweepstake was also held. C. Tuck, C. Harris, and H. Harris tied for first place, and in the shoot-off, G. Harris was first and C. Tuck second. The following are the scores:—J. Caskev, 18vds, retired; J. T. Kilpatrick 17y'ds, 2 birds ; J. Ritchie 16yds, 5 birds; C. Tuck, 16yds, 7 birds'; G. Harris, 14yds, 7 birds; F. Warrander, 12yds, 6 birds; H. Harris, lly'ds, 7 birds; C. Fincham/11yds, 6 birds; A. Ferguson, 10yds, 1 bird; G. Morrison, 10yds, 1 bird. Mr Geo. Morrison acted as referee, and Mr W. Pratt had charge of the trap.
