A case of smallpox has been notifies at the Maori settlement at Whiti whata. A male native was infected TJie case was brought to Hamiltoi and isolated at the hospital. Chickenpox is spreading among the natives in the Waikato. The Hamilton healtl authorities have been notified of outbreaks at Huntiy, Tanpiri, Ngaruawahia, and Parawera.
