A TRAMWAY FATALITY

John Jackson, an elderly farm labourer, who was knocked down by a tramcar a week ago, died in the hospital to-day.
LE GROVE’S SUICIDE
Wellington, July 10.
The Coroner’s verdict at the inquest on the body of E. J. Lo Grove was that death was due to suicide by shooting while in-a despondent state ,of mind, probably owing to bad health.
AN INFANT DROWNED
Dannevirke, July 10,
A two-year-old child named Francis Arthur Parr was drowned in a well in his parent’s place at Whetukura. The infant evidently slipped in while playing.
