The Government; Meteorologist (Kev 1). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for westerly moderate to strong winds • with a southerly tendency shortly. Tbe weather continues to be threatening, and will continue to be dull and overcast. Barometer rising, but unsteady.
