MISS SYLVIA PANKHURST
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] LUnited Press Association..] (Received B*s a.m.) London, July 8. Miss Sylvia Pankhurst has been arrested. She addressed a meeting of suffragettes at Eastern! surrounded n- a bodyguard. Jn the struggle to prevent the arrest, Miss Sylvia fainted.

Miss Sylvia Pankhurst, on refusing to be bound over for re-appearance; was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. She declared she would hunger strike.
MRS DRUMMOND'S HEALTH
31rs Drummond's case was adjourned for three months to enable her to recover her health.
THE SUNLIGHT MANSION (Received 9.30 a.m.)
Suffragettes burned William Lever's mansion at Rivington Hill, Norwich.
The damage amounted to £20,000. many tapestries and works of art were destroyed. A message was found reading "If you had been as loyal to the suffragettes as Lancashire has been to the King the outrage would not have happened."
A message addressed to the King said: "Wake up the Government, give us reason to be loyal and then try us."
HEAVY EIRE LOSSES
London, July 8
The fire losses in the United Kingdom during the past half-year amounted to .£1,675,000. The losses are attributed to the suffragettes.
A NOMINAL SENTENCE. (Received 8.5 a.m.) London, July 8. Whiteley, secretary of the Labor Press Company, who was arrested for printing "The Suffragette," was sentenced to six days' imprisonment. As the sentence dated from the opening of the assizes, Whiteley was immediately liberated.
WELL WATCHED

Two suffragettes about to hurl literature- at the King's and Queen's carriage at Southport suddenly found their hands pinned from behind by detectives. The Sovereigns were Unaware of the incident.
