Mr Newton King's Report.
On Tuesday, July 1, I neld my usual four weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising 10 bales S< sacks wool, 21 hi sheep-dans, 9 casks, 1 drum and 72 tins tallow, 810 hides and 130 calfskins, besides the usual assortment of hair, tails, etc. Wool.—l he offering comprised some nice lines of erutchings which met with keen competition. 1 sold 5 bales at 7}d and a six bale lot at 7d per lb. Fleece and
iamb, sold at par with late rates. Sheepskins.--Very firm at late rat.es, crossbred up to Sid per lb. Hidcs.Under strong competition these in nearly all cases showed an advance of ,;d'to Ad for cow. Ox were even better, showing an advance up to jd per 11, Tallow.—Slightly easier with a decline of ss.
