QUANTITY IN COOL STORE. [Per Prkss Association.] Wellington, June 30. The Department of Agriculture and Commerce reports that the following butter is in cool store at various ports throughout New Zealand as at today's date:—Auckland 14,284 boxes, New Plymouth G 350, Patea 3908, Wanganui 56, Wellington 10,900, Lyttelton 3152, Dunedin 24-18; total 41,098. Total at. June 30, 1912, 51,035.

COLORING IN MARGARINE. London, June 30. Sir George Reid introduced a depu tation of representatives of the but tor trade to Mr W. Runciman (Presi dent of the Board of Trade) request ing the prohibition of coloring in mar garine. The Hon. Thomas Mackenzie (Nev Zealand High Commissioner) support ed the deputation. Mr Runciman promised to consul the Local Government Board.
