STRATFORD POULTRY SHOW.
OPEN! NG TO-MORRO W. Arrangements are now well forward for the Stratford Poultry Society's annual show, which is to be opened at the Town Hall at 3 o'clock to-mor-row afternoon by the Mayor (Mr W. L\ Kirk wood). Selections will be rendered by the Municipal Band during the afternoon. The judge of the poultry, Mr Thomson, president of the North island Poultry Asociation, arrives to-night.
The poultry will all be judged before the opening of the show, aim the tickets will be displayed on the pens when the public are admitted.
The baby show has attracted a good number of entries, and the home industries section is also well filled. On Thursday evening the art union for nuggets from the Australian, goldfields will be drawn under the supervision of the Mayor.
