Suffragettes attempted to blow up, the Newcastle Labor Exchange, but the fuse on a can of gunpowder extinguished itself. FREE SPEECH MELEE. (Received 12.50 p.m.) London, June 29. At a free speech demonstration, Miss Sylvia Pankhurst headed ath attempt of 2000 (mostly dockers) to rush Downing Street. The movement was repelled, and a general melee followed, which lead to five arrests.
