STRATFORD POULTRY SHOW.

EXCELLENT ENTRIES RECEIVED

The entries for the Stratford Poultry Show, to be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, have exceeded all expectations, there being over 300 in the poultry class, and over 100 in the baby show and home industries. Exhibitors in the home industries are reminded that the entries else at 9.30 p.m. sharp n Wednesday morning. His Worship the Mayor will open the Show in the afternoon at 3 p.m., when it is hoped that a local enterprise such as this will receive the support it deserves. Ott Thursday aftenioon the baby show will be held, mothers being requested to bring the babies along at 2.30 p.m. Judging takes place at 3 p.m. The drawing for the Art Union will take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday evening in the presence of His Worship the Mayor, when the winners of the Art Union will be able to receive the nuggets at once. These nuggets have been procured from the Australian gold mines of Coon amble. All other special prizes, trophies and prize money will be paid over to winners by the secretary any day at the Show.

The Stratford Band will render selections on both evenings of the Show.
