A wireless message from Mawson states that the party .is in good health and spirits. After a blizzard, they are experiencing hotter conditions. On occasions recently, the wind reached a velocity of over 100 miles an hour for one or more hours. Jon several days there were many hours during which heavy gusts exceeded in velocity 200 miles an hour. No damage was done to the hut or the wireless apparatus. There were heavy snowfalls and constant drifting.
