FORFEITED DEPOSITS. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.] t Sydney, June 26. Six Federal candidates from Neii South Wales, including three Socialists, who ran for the Senate, forfeited their £25 deposit, through failing to secure the requisite votes, OPENING DATE OF PARLIAMENT (Received 8.20 a.m.) Melbourne, June 27. The opening of Parliament has Leer fixed for the 9th July. After obtaining supply, Parliament will adjourr for two months to allow of the formn hit inn of a policy.
