NEW TRADE TREATY
[By Electric Telegraph—Opyhight ' [United Press Association.] Washington, June 25.
Mr Bryan informed the Russian Ambassador that he would be glad to make a new treaty, despite the trouble regarding the admission of American Jews to Russia. M. Bakhmeitiff has communicated to Russia MiBryan's desires. It is understood that Mr Bryan is anxious to test Russian opinion whether concessions to American Jews are likely to be ofi fered.
GRAIN ELEVATOR WRECKED. New York, June 24. An explosion at the grain elevator stores of the Milling Company,, at Buffalo, killed three and injured 50, several fatally. A fire followed, destroying the mill buildings. The explosion was duo to dust accumulations. Windows were wrecked for miles around, including those of a passenger train, in which a passenger was seriously hurt by glass. SPREAD OF THE HUNGER STRIKE (Received 10.5 a.m.) London, June 25. Mr Benn, in the House of Commons, stated that three prisoners convicted of burglary, fraud, and larceny respectively, who had hunger struck, were forcibly fed. ARMING MERCHANTMEN. (Received 10.20 a.m.) The steamer Wiltshire is being equipped with two 4.7 guns.
