ITS ORGANISATION

The organisation of the National Reserve in the Auckland military district has been entrusted by General Godley to Colonel A|lan Bell, who served in the Matabele and Boer wars, and who was lately in command of the Waikato Mounted Regiment. Colonel Bell will shortly set up a committee of military officers to formulate plans governing the organisation. The object of the movement is to enrol men who have served in any- notary and naval forces of the Crown who, heing over the age for training in the Territorials, are under no obligation for further service, but who are willing to come forward for service in .the event of a national emer-
