FIRE.
OVERTURNED KEROSENE HEATER.
[Peu Pkkss Association.] Auckland, June 23
The overturning of a kerosene heater caused a conflagration in a shop of A. M. Skeates, jeweller, Victoria Arcade, this morning. The kerosene spread over the floor, and the flames reached the roof, but .were subdued in tho early stages. The damage to the stock is estimated at £IOOO, the insurances being in the Royal.
