WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows :
The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds, squally at times, and veering by east to north after about 24 hours. The weather will probably be cold and changeable, and the night probably cold with frosts inland. Barometer little movement, but falling after about "21 hours.
