EFFORTS AT EVANGELISATION

The Australasian Methodist Conference resolved that the time has arrived for a more strenuous effort for the complete and effective evangelisation of the Bismarck A rcniptlago, and the establishment of a mission board to carry out the woik. It was decided to send fraternal greetings to the Free Church at Tonga, expressing the hope -hat ere long there would be a re-union of the Togan churches, and asking tin next conference of the Free Church to consider the question; and in the event of the union of the two Tong-ra Churches being found possible before tbe next Australasian Conference is held, that the Conference authorise the president to take steps to give effect thereto.
