On the arirval of the Italian reinforcements, showing a resolve to terminate the Bedouin resistence in Cyrenaica, Aziz Bey retired with the Turkish regulars towards the Egyptian frontier,' where a fight ensued between the Turks anti Berbers, the latter’s casualties being 3000. The 'ltalian's, after a sharp fight at Ettahgi, in which they lost 19 killed ‘and ‘222 wounded, routed the Beddiiins.
