NEXT YEAR’S CAMPS

[Per Press Association.] Palmerston N., June 23

There is to be a big advance in Territorial training next year. The •Defence Department lias decided to hold four main camps, two in the North and two in the South Islands. Comprising all arms, it is estimated that 0000 men will bh under canvas in the Wellington camp. Three sites are under consideration, viz., Himitangi (near Fox ton), Takapau (Hawke’s Bay) and Turakina. A feature of nett l year’s'camp will be the inspection by General Sir lan Hamilton, commanding the Overseas Forces.
