TIMARU’S POST OFFICE

[Per Press Association. 1 Timaru, June 22

Mr R. H. Rhodes, Postmaster-Gen-eral, visited Timaru to-day to formally start the chimes presented by Mr Craigie, M.P., to the new clock in the post office. Mr Rhodes eulogised Mr Craigie’s public spirit as a citizen, displayed in his gift to the town.
