DOMINION DAIRY SHOW HAWERA.
ACTIVE PREPARATIONS. The Show Building has undergone a great change within the last few days, workmen being actively engaged in fitting up the various stands, , etc., necesasry to accommodate exhibits. The men responsible for giving the best results to the Government exhibit are now on the scene, and the display in this section this year will be on a scale before unequalled. The farmer will not benefit alone by an inspection of this important exhibit, but also the townsman.; the former will gain valuable information, while the latter will be able to realise that the Government experimental farms are real live educational institutions, and by results justify their existence. There will be a grand display of dairy and ether machinery, including seven milking machines. The entries this year exceed those of last year by fully 200, exhibits coming from Wellington, Napier, Wanganui Auckland, New Plymouth, Palmerston North and elsewhere. Visitors are promised something out of the common at the 1913 exhibition. The Lyric Orchestra will be in attendance afternoon and evening throughout the show, and Miss Curran, the wonderful girl pianiste, will also play selections at intervals, morning and afternoon. It has been decided to open the show at 11 a.m., instead of 12 noon, on the 25th inst.
