FIRES.
o AT KEMPTHORNE PROSSER’S. Auckland, June 20. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co’s, extensive chemical and manure works at Westfield were destroyed by fire early this morning. The men employed on the night shift had left the works for supper for five minutes when the building was seen to be enveloped in flame#. The building included' a valuable plant and valuable stohk. Tlie cause of the fire is a niys■ill' tery. Auckland, June 20.
